Medlogia’s Castra research project investigates the role that Hemp-Derived Cannabis (HDC) may play in the prevention and treatment of concussion and its cumulative effects.
Medlogia's researcher Michael Sean Hooker, M.D. states: "Concussion can have serious negative effects on the acute and long term cognition and health of athletes. It is a critical area of sports medicine research."
In its early planning stages, the project focuses on athletes participating in high impact sports.
A lack of verifiable information is driving Medlogia’s research. HDC is believed to be effective in self-healing, potentially reducing the need for conventional medical intervention. Our goal is to advance and contribute research to the important area of concussion treatment and prevention.
